  • Friday, April 16th

  • 5:00 - 6:00 PM: Brass Quintet Auditions (optional, and only for trumpet, trombone, tuba and French horn)

  • If your child is auditioning for the quintet, he or she should have already filled out this form through Google Classroom:

Dress Code:

  • Rehearsals - Students need to be in school appropriate casual dress like they would for a day at school- covered, no inappropriate slogans on shirts or advertising alcohol, etc.

  • Saturday Performance - Students need to wear JPJH Band concert attire:

  • Khaki Pants

  • Brown or black belt

  • Dress shoes, or tennis shoes (please try to choose grey, black, or white. the less eye-catching the better)

  • Green JPJH Band Polo

  • The delivery for these is still delayed. If we do not have them before Saturday, your child can just wear any nice polo or button-up shirt.

  • Saturday's schedule will include rehearsal AND a performance. I'd recommend just sending your child in their concert outfit so they won't need to change.

Supplies Needed:

  • Correct outfit (see above)

  • Instrument

  • Pencil

  • Sheet Music (I printed/passed out, and it's available on Google Classroom)

  • Snacks (recommended. They will have breaks)

  • Bottled Water (recommended)

  • Instrument Mask (The one they use at JPJH)

  • Mask (Just like a school day at JPJH)

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Is there a limit on the number of guests allowed to attend the performances?

  • I've been told that anything up to 8 audience members for a student would be fine. Please contact me if you're planning on bringing more than 8 people.

  • Will this event be recorded or live-streamed?

  • Unfortunately, no it will not. There are no plans to professionally record or broadcast these performances.

  • Do I stay with my child or drop them off?

  • Please register with your child on Friday night.

  • You may stay or leave during Friday and Saturday rehearsals, and of course you'll want to attend your child's performance on Saturday.

Thank you so much for supporting your kids! Please don't hesitate to reach out for more info any time.
